The process begins by obtaining a comprehensive understanding of your personal financial situation and settlement goals. We create a working balance sheet on our client property portal & help you through the financial disclosure process.
2. Propose
We work with you on different scenarios and proposals helping you achieve your desired settlement goals. Independent and third party legal advice is provided to help you understand your entitlements and make fully-informed decisions.
3. Agree
You are provided with a full financial settlement proposal that allows you to directly negotiate with your former partner in a more informed and empowered way.
Once parties agree, we will organise for a third party lawyer to make your separation agreement, legally binding.
BALANCE SHEET
The first step is for Simple Separation to help you with financial disclosure, the preparation of a Balance Sheet that incorporates all assets and liabilities to determine the net asset pool.
