Guided Financial Settlement for 2

From intake to balance sheet, disclosure to settlement, Simple Separation makes financial settlements stress-free, with minimum fuss.

You can engage Simple Separation in 2 ways; Guided Financial Settlement for 1 or Guided Financial Settlement for 2 (joint).

Here is an example of the collaborative financial settlement process:

1. Prepare

  • The process begins by obtaining a comprehensive understanding of each party’s personal financial situation and goals separately. We create a working balance sheet on our client property portal.

2. Propose

  • We work with each party separately on different scenarios and proposals helping them to reach their goals. Independent and third party legal advice is provided to both parties.

3. Agree

  • We help parties reach resolution by identifying what’s in agreement and what’s in dispute between the parties and facilitate a negotiation. Once parties reach agreement, we will organise for a third party lawyer to make it legally binding.
